Noted Scenic Landscape Artist of the Baltimore-Washington area, Wood was a pupil of Samuel Whiteman. Avid supporter of the Arts, Wood was a Member of The Charcoal Club (1885) Baltimore Water Color Club(1892) and President Municipal Art Society Of Baltimore (1899). A treatment of Wood’s art and life that appeared in the 1917 “Who’s Who in Art.”
