The Dead Artists Gallery presents “Drama and strength”

Drama and strength… of such things is Social Realism molded! Painted by Harry E. Buckley (1930-2010) in mixed media/gouache on cardboard, this tribute to the working class, especially toilers of the field, is simple but powerful. After graduating from the University of Arkansas and then receiving a doctoral in art history( The university of Iowa) , Buckley taught art as a creative expressive form at Temple University and Carleton College. His training with David Durst(1911-1984) is seen in his social genre pieces.

9 x 10 in wonderful earlier art nouveau frame

$325.
