Presenting “The Cliffs “, large oil on canvas painted 1901 by William Jurian Kaula (1871-1953) Bearing a French Academy stamp on the stretcher, this Channel scene has captured so many memories and hearts for the last 125 years! Training under Colin at the Academy Julianne in Paris and later with Edmund C. Tarbell(1862-1938)at the Museum School (Boston), Kaula is now represented in most major American museums. –
