Thick impasto, impressionistic, and so very French! Oil on re-purposed canvas (earlier painting underneath) typical of post-war European art. Signed upper right “C. (Claude) Bonil” and presented in a mid-century gold frame circa 1950, probably original, 20″ x 16″, $450. Found in Nice, but shipped from Paris (isn’t all French art?).
