The Dead Artists Gallery presents “Sunset, Whitecaps”

Oil on Canvas, “Sunset”, signed  L/L  Louis Saphier (1875-1954).

Saphier was a Dutch/American who migrated to New York City in 1889 where he was a successful self-trained artist of Landscapes, Portraits and Illustrative Scenes. Exhibited first in Washington Square Show of 1932, where he sold nine oils.
