Palini, born in Cartona Italy, was trained to become a sculptor, but after studies at the Ecole De Francais, began a painting career which he pursued for life. In the 1940’s, his various angles and settings of the harbor at Naples became very popular and much sought after. This scene from a flowered balcony with magnificent columns invokes a warm summer’s day on the Adriatic Sea.
