This very familiar depiction of salt grass was painted by the Cuban expatriate artist Lucia, who migrated to Key West but spent time painting along the south-atlantic coast. Despite the carefully executed realism of the grassy banks, the artist has been able to incorporate some Avante-Garde Cuban design into the swirling water
