From Paris, with love… A charming small 19th century landscape which, while appearing to be English is in fact Italian, and was found in Paris! Go figure! A rusticated stone farmhouse nestled in the tranquil countryside with a dirt path leading past where silhouettes of travelers can be seen. In the foreground, a serene lake glistens, populated by graceful ducks. Signed by Rudolf Masollis lower right, it is presented in its original water-gilt frame 15″ x 18″ circa 1880. $495.
