“Matilde, Chapeau de Paille.” Just unboxed this morning from Paris, it is oil on Masonite, unsigned, and dates about 1950-1960. In its original, or at least to the best of my knowledge original, frame 23 x 19. $495. Wistful, contemplative, decisive, manipulative… Lots of words come to mind viewing this portrait!
