The Dead Artists Gallery Presents “Pennsylvania Landscape”

If a small but well done landscape by an American plain air artist is on your list for your next installation… Maybe this is the one. Painted about 1930 – 40 and presented in its original art deco closed-corner gilded frame, this piece by Richard Schmueckle (1903-1988) displays the charm and skill of many of his landscape contemporaries of the New Hope School. Trained in Philadelphia, he is known for his small Pennsylvania landscapes. Signed with initials, lower left and stamped with full information on verso, 13 x 16, $495.
