Rediscovered…Oil on artist board by an unidentified New York plein- air artist circa 1875 in a 21 x 26 water-gilt frame of the same period. This artist painted very much in the style of Martin Johnson Heade (1819-1904) who was well-known for his depiction of hummingbirds, trailing vines and orchids. He also brings up to $3 million!
