Known for society portraits of prominent New Yorkers, Boston also achieved acclaim with his landscapes and genre scenes. He was a member of the National Academy of Design, the Salamagundi Club, the Allied Artists of America, and the National Arts Club. Along with William S. Barret(1894-1927) he was a founder of “The Brooklyn Ten” which developed the Brooklyn New School of Art. $3800.
