Never disappointed when I look at this large 1912 oil on canvas by William Ruben Clark Wood(1875-1915). Pupil of Samuel Whitman, this Baltimore/Washington area plein air artist was a member of the Charcoal Club, 1885, the Baltimore Water Color Club, 1892 and president of the Municipal Art Society of Baltimore ,1899. 30 x 36 in original water-gilt frame, $2450. “Spring’s Path” was among the most photographed landscapes in our space first three days of the Fall Show here in High Point.
